PAYROLL/HUMAN RESOURCES

This is a year-round full-time classified position with benefits, to begin January 8, 2024.  1787 hours annually Monday through Thursday. Salary per classified wage schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the performance responsibilities listed below, which are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must have excellent public relation skills and ability to work with all staff members. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Education: High school diploma.  Preference may be given to applicants with experience and/or college education.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as Boundary County School District #101 Policy Manual, safety rules, and procedure manuals, Idaho Code, HR/PR Law, Tax Law, IRS code, etc.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate percentages and amounts pertaining to payroll operations. Understanding of budget and finance.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to analyze varying payroll scenarios and determine accurate results.
Other Skills and Abilities: Must have excellent computer skills in multiple programs. Must have a high standard of organizational skills. Must maintain confidentiality.
SUMMARY OF PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.       Processes payroll data for all school district employees and maintains accurate, up-to-date files of all employee payroll information. Maintains accurate time off records.
2.       Prepares and submits required state and federal reports.
3.       Advertises all openings within the district or with placement offices and websites as requested by supervisor.
4.       Maintains transfer requests, applications and interview information as required.
5.       Processes new hires according to local, state, and federal regulations.
6.       Certifies with SDOE to maintain and verify background investigation information for all employees and volunteers. 
7.       Maintains compliance in paperwork and procedures in all areas of HR/PR Law.
8.       Assists retiring employees through the retirement process.
9.       Attends training sessions to keep updated in laws, software, and procedures.
10.   Acquires a general knowledge of the workings of the District Office and performs other duties as may be assigned by the Superintendent or Business Manager.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST  

QUALIFICATIONS: Meet Idaho State certification requirements for Occupational Therapist. 
JOB GOAL:  Provide identification, intervention, and special services to students with language, speech, and hearing disorders.
