Idaho Students Invited to Celebrate the Season With the 2023 SDE Holiday Card Contest
Idaho teachers are encouraged to submit their class's best holiday artwork for the 2023 SDE Holiday Card Contest. This year's contest will feature two divisions for students in grades K-6 and another for students in grades 7-12. Winning entries from each grade level will be selected for display on the State Department of Education website. From these, two overall winners will be selected: one from the K-6 division and one for the 7-12 division. The winning pieces will be used on the department's official holiday card and the winning artists will receive cards for their personal use.
- Drawings should depict holiday or winter scenes
- Submissions should be 8.5" x 11"
- Submissions should be hand-drawn, though scanned PDFs of hand-drawn art are acceptable
- Photography, videos or digitally-made entries will not be accepted
