Rural STEM Educators Encouraged to Apply for the 2024 Cohort of BSU's STEM Teaching Fellowship
Boise State University is recruiting applicants from Regions 3 and 4 to make up a community-based cohort of Master's in Teaching Candidates, with a focus on proving the highest quality STEM instruction to Idaho's rural schools. The program is sponsored by National Science Foundation's Robert Noyce Teaching Scholarship Program. This year's STEM Teaching Fellowship cohort will begin work in May of 2024.
The program features:
Initial teacher certificate and Master in Teaching degree
Paid tuition and fees, as well as a stipend for living expenses
$10,000 per year salary supplement for the first 4 years of teaching
Priority hiring consideration in partner rural-serving schools
Follow-up mentorship and leadership support
