Work Experience
Juniors and Seniors are able to get elective credit for working a job in one of two ways:
- Getting a Work Experience credit. Paperwork must be completed and returned to the counseling department. Click the links below for more info...
- Work Experience Application
- Employer Evaluation (due monthly)
- Self Evaluation (due monthly) - Getting an Experiential Learning credit through our Agriculture Instructor, Julie Smith. This option is run through student's SAE account and is the appropriate choice for students that have taken agriculture classes. Please email her at julie.smith@mail.bcsd101.com with further questions.
In order for students to gain a credit in both of these pathways, they must work at least 70 hours for 1 semester credit and complete all required paperwork, pay stub reporting, and presentations.
