Free Developmental Screening for children from birth to 5th birthday - call for an appointment 208-267-7962
NEW LOCATION: BOUNDARY COUNTY MIDDLE SCHOOL LIBRARY
Screening assesses a child’s development in the following areas:
- Speech and Language
- Large and small muscles
- Academic Concepts
- Self help skills
- Social emotional skills
- Hearing and Vision
If your child would benefit from support in one or more areas listed above, a referral is made with parent consent to the appropriate child development specialist with:
- Idaho Infant/Toddler Program - For Ages Birth to 3 yrs
- Boundary County School District-Early Childhood Program - For Ages 3 and 4 yrs
- NIC Head Start - For Ages 3 and 4 yrs
Boundary County School District is also responsible for identification of school-age children with special needs or disabilities. Please contact the Special Education Department at 208-267-7962.
