Nominations are now open for administrators, colleagues and parents to nominate secondary teachers who teach science, technology, computer science, engineering or mathematics for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST). Go to https://www.paemst.org to nominate. National awardees receive a certificate signed by the President, a $10,000 cash award and a trip to D.C. for recognition and professional development. They also enter a cadre of national teacher leaders in STEM. This is the nation’s highest honor for STEM teachers. Please help build our Idaho cadre of awardees by nominating a teacher and encouraging them to complete the application. Also, please get the word out to your community to nominate Idaho’s STEMazing teachers. Nominations close on January 9, 2023 and applications close on February 6, 2023.
