Idaho Public Schools are required by Idaho Code 33-1639 to observe a daily minute of silence. This notice is to inform you that beginning July 1, 2026 all BCSD #101 schools will observe one minute of silence at or near the beginning of each school day.
BCSD #101 encourages parents and guardians to offer direction to their child on silent reflection or activity to engage in during the minute of silence. Your child may sit quietly or engage in any silent activity that is consistent with school rules and District policy as long as it doesn’t distract or interfere with other students. Disruption of the minute of silence may result in disciplinary action in accordance with student behavior policy.

District Office summer hours are Mon - Thurs, 7:00am - 3:00pm. The office will be closed the week of July 6th, returning July 13th.
