KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

May 13, 2022  10:00 am – 2:00 pm

At Valley View Elementary School

Please bring your child with you. 

The school nurse will be here to go over questions about immunizations.

She will also be offering immunizations on site.

We will have vision and hearing screenings, speech and language assessments

and a brief screening by one of our five kindergarten teachers. 

Each child will receive a free book, early literacy information,

games and reading activities. 

Children must be 5 years old by September 1, 2022. 

An original state birth certificate is required; however, we will also accept a valid passport.  We do not accept souvenir certificates that come from the hospital.  If you do not have an original birth certificate for your child, you will need to obtain one prior to September 7, 2022 by contacting the Department of Vital Statistics in the state in which your child was born.

Immunizations

A copy of your child’s complete immunization records must be brought with you. 

A list of the required immunizations to enter kindergarten can be found below.

Exemption forms will be available.
