Our Pledge of Respect:

I am a smart, special, valuable person.  I respect myself and I respect others.  My words and actions are kind and honest.  I accept only my best in all I do.  I am proud to be me!

• Right now we are tracking the weather.  We have been using our school's weather station to find each day's high and low temperature.  We are reporting the data in our "Temperature Tracker" journal.  Soon we will input our data onto the Globe Website.

We have added precipitation into our study of the weather. Our rain
gauge has been put to use to record the weekly precipitation. We
collected data for the whole month of January. We are expanding our
math horizons by converting the millimeters into inches and averaging
the daily high and low temperatures. These are the results we have
arrived at for January’s Weather . . .

Average High Temp: 40
Average Low Temp: 29
January’s Precipitation: 4.8 inches
