OF TRUSTEE ELECTION

THE PUBLIC
SHALL TAKE NOTICE
that an election shall be held
Persons
seeking election to the position of trustee shall be subject to the
provisions of this Notice.
Any person legally qualified to hold the office of
school trustee for
Zone #1
trustee position is for a three (3) year term and is physically
described as:
(Revised 2002) Beginning at
the SW corner of Section 10, T62N, R3W thence north 10 miles along
the Bonner/Boundary county line to the SW corner of Section 31,
T63N, R3W thence west 11 ¼ miles along the county line to the SW
Corner Section 31, T64N, R5W thence north approximately 10 ½ miles
to the Canada/USA border thence east approximately 45 miles to the
Idaho/Montana border and the NE corner of Section 10, T65N, R3E
thence south 7 ½ miles to the SE corner of Section 15, T64N, R3E
thence west 9 ¾ miles to the SE corner of Section 13, T64N, R1E
thence south 11 to the SE corner of Section 12, T62N, R1E thence
west 1 ½ miles to the centerline of US Highway #95 thence south
along the highway to the SE corner of Section 15, T62N, R1E thence
west 3 ¾ miles to the east bank of the Kootenai River thence south
to a point where the river intersects the south line of section 19,
T62N, R1E thence west to the point of beginning.

trustee position is for a three (3) year term and is physically

miles to the NW corner of Section 19, T64N, R2E thence east 10 miles
to the NE corner of Section 22, T64N, R3E thence south approximately
19 miles along the county line (Idaho-Montana border) to the north

Declarations
of Candidacy,
which outline all legal requirements, shall be filed with the Clerk
of School District at the district office located at
Pursuant to Idaho Code 33-502A - No write-in vote
for school district trustee in a school election shall be counted
unless a declaration of intent has been filed indicating that the
person desires the office and is legally qualified to assume the
duties of school trustee if elected.
The declaration of intent shall be filed not later than
fourteen (14) days before the day of the election [May 6th

nomination is received and if no declaration of intent has been
filed as noted above, the board shall within thirteen (13) days

A qualified
school elector, may vote absentee in such election in the manner
herein provided:
Any such elector may make written application to the clerk for a
ballot of the kind to be voted on at such election, which
application shall contain the name of the elector, the trustee zone
of the district in which he/she resides and his/her present address.
Absentee ballot applications are available at the District
Administration Office and on the district web site: www.bcsd101.com.
The application for an absentee elector's ballot shall be
filed with the clerk not later than
The clerk
receiving such application shall not more than twenty-eight (28)
days prior to the day of the election, deliver to said applicant
elector personally or by mail to the mailing address given in the
application, postage pre-paid, a ballot or ballots, one (1) of
each kind thereof, to be voted on in the election and a form of Oath
of Qualification. The
